Abstract:
To avoid cutting of existing pipelines, electric or fiber cables and to minimize workloads related to installation of the pipeline in new projects, wiring patterns for video monitoring system, which is the most commonly deployed and the most vulnerable component in safety systems of expansion and reconstruction projects, have been redesigned. By using the 3G-based wireless video surveillance system, front-end images captured by newly installed cameras can be transmitted to the existing back-end through wireless system. In addition to reduce workloads related to cable installation and minimize damages to the surface of existing stations, such transmission may facilitate the operations and maintenances in later stages. By installing front-end cameras in the station and deploy 3G wireless system for data transmission, the new surveillance facilities can be combined into existing network rapidly without installation of cables or looking for available routes.
