Abstract:
In the initial operation, the LNG terminal should run at the minimum sendout rate. It mainly plays a role of peak shaving. When the demand for natural gas sendout is instable, the terminal may be running at the minimum sendout rate at any time, which influences the safe operation of the terminal. In this paper, main factors influencing the minimum sendout rate are analyzed; by BWRS equation and the law of energy and conservation of mass, the minimum LNG flowrate required for BOG recycling of recondenser is determined; the minimum sendout rate at SCV mode is defined by dichotomy. Hereby, taking the ForceControl V7.0 as a platform, the software to calculate minimum sendout rate of LNG terminal with different parameters is designed, and its reliability is verified by the actual operating parameters of Dalian LNG Terminal. The results show that the minimum sendout rate of Dalian LNG Terminal at ORV mode and SCV mode is 375.65×10
