Abstract:
With the construction and development of long-distance oil and gas pipeline in China, pipeline steel with high strength and high deformation resistance suitable for high strain areas such as seismic belt has been developed and applied efficiently. Based on available results of researches on pipeline steel with high deformation resistance, this paper analyzes and summarizes the design basis (tensile strain and compressive strain) and typical characteristics (dual phase structure, low yield ratio, high uniform elongation and strain hardening exponent, typical vault type of stress-strain curve) of pipeline steel with high deformation resistance, discusses the research progress and influencing factors from aspects of rolling technology, chemical components, structure property, welding process, and corrosion properties respectively. Moreover, requirements in current relevant standards, processing and manufacturing level of steel plant and pipe plant and research and application of pipeline steels with high deformation resistance are overawed. The results are beneficial to the application and popularization of pipeline steels with high deformation resistance.
