Abstract:
For the Mohe-Daqing Oil Pipeline, conventional handling and transportation modes can not ensure the maintenance and emergency repair equipment be delivered safely to sites in winter, and existing maintenance and emergency repair modes are nagged by long-lead equipment and scattered arrangement on sites. In this regard, a containerized and modularized management mode is proposed for maintenance and emergency repair equipment. By functions, key maintenance and emergency repair equipment are roughly classified into seven categories: (1) oil well pump, blocking devices with oil under pressure and clamps blocking leakage; (2) portable oil tank, oil-fueled de-icing machine and oil-fueled ice atlas drill; (3) extinguisher and chain saw; (4) orifice heater and orifice degausser; (5) hydraulic wrench, Wachs hydraulic station and tents; (6) electric generator, clamp plate and flange tee; and (7) Wachs slurry pump, Ocean's King lights, cables and switchboard. They are isolated, integrated, fixed and delivered by unconventional scoots to sites in containerized manner, so as to ensure the emergency response for the Mohe-Daqing Oil Pipeline in winter. This containerized and modularized management mode can serve as a reference for maintenance and emergency repair of pipelines in other remote areas.
