A new method of pressure testing segmentation for oil pipeline in mountainous areas

  • 摘要: 针对中缅原油管道(国内段)山区敷设的实际情况,分析常规试压分段存在的问题,提出按动态设计内压力进行分段的新方法,将管道沿线各点的设计内压力取值为最差工况下各点的最大实际运行压力,在此基础上进行试压段落划分,从而解决常规试压中分段数量多、施工周期长、工程费用高及施工难度大等问题。从设计规范和工程实践角度阐述了该方法的合理性,并详细介绍了该试压分段方法的原则及步骤,对山区输油管道试压具有很好的指导意义。

     

    Abstract: Considering the actual situations when the Myanmar-China Oil Pipeline (in China) is laid in mountainous areas, conventional pressure testing segmentation methods are analyzed, indicating some problems like multiple segments, long construction period, high engineering cost and difficult construction. Therefore, a new segmentation method based on the internal pressure under dynamic design is proposed. With this method, the internal pressure value at each point along the pipeline is set to the maximum practical operating pressure under the worst conditions, and then the pressure testing segmentation is conducted. This paper expounds the rationality of the method from the perspectives of design specifications and engineering practice, and also introduces the principle and steps of the method. The study results can provide significant guidance to the pressure testing of oil pipeline built in mountainous areas.
