Abstract:
Information technology is a brand-new consideration for emergency response of long-distance pipelines. It can help to ensure the priority of response at higher efficiency and lower allocation of human and physical resources. This paper discusses some information technology programs and principles, such as meteorological early warning of geological disasters along pipeline, simulation analysis of pipeline leakage, 3D analysis of pipeline emergency, thematic map of pipeline emergency, and PIS-based data support system for pipeline emergency. Practical application cases are given, including meteorological early warning of geological disasters along Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Products Pipeline, simulation of crude oil spill into sea water of Qinhuangdao shipping line, and 3D analysis of the hazardous impacts of Wenquan reservoir's dam-break on Sebei-Xining-Lanzhou Gas Pipeline and Tangjiashan dammed lake's dam-break on Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Products Pipeline. Finally, this paper expects the future of information technology for pipeline emergency.
