Application of CFD software in oil & gas storage and transportation engineering

  • 摘要: 当前,计算流体力学(CFD)软件日渐增多及成熟,CFD技术已成为油气储运工程领域非常重要的科研开发工具。对CFD技术在油气储运工程领域的应用现状进行梳理,介绍了CFD技术的基本原理、工作流程及其显示和输出的计算结果内容;分述了CFD技术在管道不同运行方式、管道设备和附件、管道安全运行3个方面的应用及取得的成果。以全球第一个通过ISO9001质量认证的CFD商用软件CFX对缩径直管段中气固两相管流流场的数值模拟为例,分析了气固两相管流流场特征以及颗粒的冲蚀情况,全面展示了CFX软件的模拟流程,对于CFD技术进一步有效应用于油气储运工程领域具有重要的现实意义。

     

    Abstract: At present, CFD commercial software is to put on and a lot of applications, it has become a very important tool in the research and development of oil & gas storage and transportation engineering field. This paper presents the application status of CFD in the field of oil & gas storage and transportation engineering and introduces its basic principle, working process and the calculation result which is displayed and output through the CFD. Besides, the application and achievements made by CFD in three aspects including different operating methods, equipment and its attachment, and the safe operation of pipeline are discussed. Taking the numerical simulation of the flow field of gas-solid two-phase flow in reduced diameter pipe performed by CFD commercial software CFX which is the first software that has passed the ISO9001 quality certification as an example, this paper analyzes the features of flow field of gas-solid two-phase flow and the erosion of particles to fully display the simulation process of CFX, which is of great practical meaning for the further and effective application of CAF technology in the field of oil & gas storage and transportation engineering.
