Abstract:
Sino-Burma Oil-Gas Pipeline is the first long-distance, large-diameter and high-pressure oil and gas pipeline laid across Hengduan Mountains area in western Yunnan, which encounters clusters of geological hazard areas in complicated terrain and geological conditions for the first time. This paper introduces the method of choosing large deformation pipeline to improve the pipeline's ability in resisting strain failure in areas where geological hazard is highly likely to happen, discusses the laying situations, investigation conclusions of geological hazard, pertinence analysis and management effect of countermeasures as it comes across various typical geological hazards like mudslide, landslide, unstable slope, dangerousrock slumping and so on. The above methods in design and construction and practical experience are of guiding significance to the design and construction of long-distance oil and gas pipeline under complicated terrain and geological conditions.
