Abstract:
The gas turbines driving compressor units are characterized by multiple subsystems, complicated control system, high frequency of faults and difficulty in maintenance. Once a fault occurs in the compressor units, it would affect the reliability of gas transmission and the safety of gas compressor station directly. The main faults which happen to the gas turbines driving compressor units fall into two categories, that is, shutdown caused by fault and shutdown not caused by fault. Taking the PGT25+HSPT/PCL802 units, used in the West Pipeline Section of the 2nd West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project, as an example, according to the actual working condition of each compressor situation along the pipeline, statistics and analysis on the fault category are made, acquired the main mechanisms of fault for the gas turbines driving compressor units, and then take some corresponding measures to improve the reliability and service life of the gas turbines driving compressor units, aiming at ensuring steady and high efficient gas transmission.
