Abstract:
Heating and temperature tests on the tank stored oil are important means to achieve oil temperature control, andimportant guarantees to meet safe operation of large-scale tanks in the national oil reserve system. Therefore, the paperanalyzes comprehensively the related outcomes in these two aspects. Heating technology can be divided into two types, partial heating and overall heating, which should be selected according to the specific situation, including oil property, application object, region and temperature features, safety factors and so on. In addition, energy saving and environmentfriendly heating techniques are becoming more and more popular. The study on the tank temperature field uses threemethods, simulation calculation, on-site testing and modeling experiment. Numerical simulation, difficult to some degree, but can save costs and provide comprehensive and accurate temperature field results. There are some limitations in theapplication of on-site testing and modeling experiment in engineering projects, but they are still indispensible at this stage, itis necessary to adopt new temperature measurement techniques.
