Abstract:
This paper bases on the implementation problems of the Sudan Block VI Project, profoundly analyzes the existing problems and hidden risks for domestic contractors in the operation and management of the international EPCC project, which involve in basic data, supplier list, document approval procedure, communication method of project parties and project operation and management procedures, etc., and summarizes detail problems needing contractors' attentions over the whole process from project bidding to project commissioning, which specifcally are related to basic data collection, bidding document response, management of general contracting/subcontracting documents and management of project operational procedures, etc.. In the international EPCC project, the contractors shall understand and analyze bidding documents and contract documents seriously, normalize project management mode and procedures, subdivided job duty, and make staffs' rights and responsibilities explicit, and thus it is expected to minimize potential risks, eliminate hidden risks and realize the anticipated project benefts in the operation and management of such the projects.
