Abstract:
Thermal environment formed by refrigeration compressor running has significant effect on the performances of components and lubricating oil. A clear understanding on the temperature field in the compressor case and of the case itself is helpful for its performance optimization and reliability promotion of refrigeration compressor. The existing heat transfer model of rolling piston type refrigeration compressor is modified, and lumped parameter method is used to establish a new thermal field calculation model, which considers the effect of accumulator. The initial input parameters include geometric size of compressor components, ambient temperature, compressor input power, accumulator inlet gas temperature, compression ratio, compressor motor efficiency, mechanical efficiency, etc. After the heat transfer resistance between lumped modules is identified, all the lumped module temperature can be obtained by numerical means. The research result can provide theory basis to the temperature distribution calculation of a typical rolling piston type rotary compressor.
