Abstract:
The applied situation and the differences between China and Russia standards in operation technology of oil and gas pipelines are analyzed in term of classification composition, comprehensiveness, systematization, practicality and advancement. The pipeline standard classification is in a state of confusion in Russia, and industry standards transformation into national standards or organizational codes still needs a certain period of time, however, the technical standards of pipeline operation in Russia are more mature than that in China in term of comprehensiveness and systematization. Russian standards have advantages of rich content, simple in use and strong operability, but their update is slower, and do not include advanced management concepts, such as integrity management into the standard system. Comparatively speaking, Chinese standards are better than Russian standards in classification composition and advancement. Referencing Russian standards, it is important to learn its perfect compilation program and higher compilation level.
