Abstract:
In this paper, for the purpose of strengthening the economic and energy saving operation management of crude oil pipelines, the authors analyze the development of long-distance pipeline energy consumption estimation methods and software, and develop an energy consumption estimation software with a mathematical model and software packages for process calculation of constant flow steady-state optimal operation as the kernel and through integrating relevant functional modules, establish an energy consumption estimation system for crude oil pipelines. This software can perform optimization calculation according to the monthly oil transportation task and output the optimized operation plan, optimal production energy consumption interval, providing a decision-making reference to the preparation of operation plan and energy saving assessment indicators, as well as safety operation management. A case calculation from Qinhuangdao-Beijing Oil Pipeline shows that the key of energy saver for oil pipelines is to control oil temperature and reduce fuel consumption.
