Abstract:
With the application and development of SCADA system in long-distance oil and gas pipeline, more and more smart devices are used and the remote monitor & maintenance system for long-distance oil and gas pipeline (RMMS) has emerged as the times require. RMMS technology can shorten repair time, reduce maintenance costs, improve utilization rate of SCADA system and solve the lack of maintenance personnel in the pipeline operation organization. In this paper, overall structure of long-distance oil and gas pipeline RMMS fully distributed system and functions of the main devices are described, design principles and key points of RMMS in structure, function, safety and other aspects are analyzed and the main parameters for typical configuration of the long-distance oil and gas pipeline RMMS are provided. As shown from actual application results of Zhongxian–Wuhan Gas Pipeline, the state monitoring, remote maintenance and safety controlbased system construction thought and solution for pipeline station RMMS effectively ensures operation safety of the oil and gas pipeline.
