Abstract:
Blasting purge is usually applied in large-diameter pipeline or with the impurities not easily to be cleaned due to many turns and more branches. This paper introduces the principle of bursting purge, and the working steps are that a low-strength rupture disk is put at one end of pipeline, and gas is filled into the pipeline with a compressor to increase the pressure, when the pressure reach at certain value, the rupture disk breaks, and the impurities in the pipeline is carrying out along high-speed ejected gas flow. The paper describes the safety requirement of bursting purge construction and introduces the technological characteristics and technological process of bursting purge technology. This technology has already been used in the pipeline in a gas station, and the practice proves that the flow rate of gas in pipeline in station can reach more than 100 m/s when carrying out bursting purge, the impurities inside the pipeline, even the stones blocking at pipeline corner, will be cleaned off.
