Abstract:
New technologies used in the process design of compressor stations for long-distance gas pipelines in recent years are introduced. The design technology of equal load rate station arrangement for compressor station refers to the arranging of compressor stations according to same load rate for same compressor unit in combination with actual elevation and ambient temperature of the station. The quantitative evaluation method for compressor unit alternatives refers to the method for determination of compressor unit alternatives with probability analysis method in combination with the layout of the compressor stations and the availability of the compressor units and gas storage volume and other boundary conditions. The compressors unit applicability analysis technology is to analyze the actual working conditions of compressor units after matching with pipeline characteristics by using simulation software to simulate the compressor operating curve. The application of these technologies in the first West-to-East Gas Pipeline and the second West-to-East Gas Pipeline have significantly reduced the construction investment of the pipelines and improved the running economics of the pipelines.
