Abstract:
For buried pipelines, the interaction between soil and pipeline is a main composition of stress analysis for pressure pipeline, so the study on the mechanical properties of the soil surrounding the pipeline is of great importance. Based on CAESAR II stress software, a reasonable analysis model for buried pipeline is set up, and an numerical calculation is made. The impact of operation temperature, installation temperature difference, buried depth of pipelines, internal friction angle, and other parameters on local pushing force and displacement of pipeline are analyzed. Study results show that the internal and external temperature differences of pipeline, buried depth, and internal friction angle of soil have greater impact on the magnitude and direction of stress, displacement, pushing fore of pipe anchor block overground or underground pipeline, so when in design, the soil parameters must be defined correctly to achieve satisfactory results.
