Abstract:
Separation and purification to oxygen coalbed methane under constant temperature with a hollow fiber membrane separator are made.Researchers investigate the impact of inlet gas flowrate and pressure differences between two sides of the membrane on deoxidization rate,methane loss rate, mass transfer rate of oxygen and mass transfer coefficient. The results show that the deoxidization rate decreases along with the increase of inlet air flow rate. The pressure differences between two sides of the membrane has great impact on the deoxidization rate, the increase of pressure differences between two sides of the membrane can improve the mass transfer of oxygen, but the methane loss rate will increase at the same time. Under experimental conditions, the deoxidization rate of single-level membrane module can be up to 96% for fuel gas with oxygen content of 9.31%, and composition of product gas can meet the safety standards of explosion limit. This experiment provides an effective method to the removal of oxygen from coalbed methane mixed with air.
