Abstract: This paper summarizes falling accidents happened in oil loading/unloading operation in oil tankfarm, and introduces the working principle, performance, application scope, installation steps and cautions of in difference falling protector, and puts forward suggestions for the falling protector in material selection of components, procurement and safety belt, etc., installation, and integration design with railway bridge and oil loading awning. The difference falling protector has many advantages in light weight structure, handy installation, simple operation and available use. The authors consider that correct installation and utilization of it can prevent falling accidents from taking place during oil loading/unloading operation to protect human safety.
