Abstract:
On the basis of analyzing unit hydraulic horsepower energy consumption cost indicator of oil pipeline used by foreign pipeline companies, two new energy consumption evaluation indicators for long-distance oil/gas pipeline, namely the energy consumption for unit useful work and the consumption for useful work of unit turnover, are introduced with corresponding calculation method. The new indicators can be adopted to analyze the changing reasons of unit energy consumption during the operation of pipeline, for purpose to further save energy. The new indicators in combination with domestic original pipeline energy consumption indicators and ancillary indicators can give a more comprehensive evaluation on energy consumption in long-distance oil/gas pipeline. The indicators have been applied in the energy consumption analysis of Sebei-Xining-Lanzhou Gas Pipeline so as to verify their rationality and applicability. Results indicate that the reason for the higher unit consumption during pipeline operation is the lower pipeline inventory and the higher useful work consumption in unit turnover, and the reason for the lower unit useful work energy consumption is related to the lower pipeline inventory and smaller throttling loss, which lift up the utilization rate of energy.
