Abstract:
Offshore floating hose is a combination section flexible structure with a complex manufacturing process, high performance and high cost. Based on the finite element method, by the use of ABAQUS software, non-linear relationships between axial tensile load and stretch rate and between curvature and bending moment of five-layer adhesive offshore oil floating hose under pressure and pressure-free conditions and formation mechanisms are analyzed and calculated. By analyzing the model, stress distribution characteristics for different layers of hose are obtained, and it is pointed out that the adhesive hose still has the non-linear equivalent section stiffness characteristics due to the nonsymmetrical structure feature. Influences of spiral reinforcement layout angle, spiral reinforcement diameter, cord thread layout angle of cord thread-rubber composite layers, and other structural design parameters on the hose stretch rate under the axial load are analyzed. It is considered that the relevant research results can provide a reference to the design of oil hose.
