某油库消防水泵电机过流问题与处理

Overcurrent Problem and Solution of Fire Pumps in Some Oil Tankfarm

  • 摘要: 某油库消防给水系统的3套消防冷却水泵机组在数次试运行过程中, 均存在电机过流和保护跳闸的问题。基于消防水泵运行性能参数的测试试验, 分析了冷却水泵机组产生电机过流现象的原因: 电机功率选配偏小是冷却水泵机组发生电机过流、保护跳闸的重要原因之一, 这是由离心泵的特性决定的。为此, 制定了4种解决方案: 将电机更换为额定功率为350kW的电机、将泵出口多功能控制阀更换为安全泄压阀、在泵出口增设节流孔板、在消防管网起点设置安全泄压阀。针对离心泵在消防系统消防灭火过程中的工作特点, 优选出了最佳方案: 在消防管网起点增设安全泄压阀。该方案既可满足消防需水量的要求, 又不会造成电机过流, 且工程量和投资都较小。

     

    Abstract: Motor overcurrent and protector trip occurred in 3 cooling water pump sets of fire water system during several test runs in some tankfarm.Based on the fire water pump parameter testing,the reasons of motor overcurrent is analyzed and it is concluded that the lower power of motor is one of the most important reasons for pump overcurrent and protector trip,which is the characteristic-dependent of centrifugal pump.In this case,four solutions are made:replacing the motor by a 350 kW motor,replacing the multi-function control valve with a safety relief vale at the outlet,installing a throttle orifice at the pump outlet,installing a safety relief vale at the beginning end of the fire protection pipe.Regarding the performance of centrifugal pump in fire protection system,optimized solution is proposed:installing a safety relief vale at the beginning end of the(ire protection pipe.It can not only satisfy the water requirements in fire protection,but also avoid the motor overcurrent problem,and in addition,the project and investment are minimized.
