Abstract:
Based on the frost hazards existed in permafrost region, where oil pipeline passes through, a mathematical model to solve the variation of temperature field in the process of soil freeze-thawing around buried hot oil pipeline in permafrost region is established.Taking the pipe section of Sino-Russia Oil Pipeline laid in bog developed permafrost region as an example, considering the influence of latent heat of phase change on temperature field during soil frost, ambient temperature of surface as periodic boundary conditions and adopting finite-volume method, numerical simulation on soil temperature field around buried pipeline is carried out by means of porous media model under the conditions of insulating layer and insulating layer-free.Results show that beat flux of pipe wall is remarkably lowered under the condition of insulating layer, moreover fluctuation range is decreased, and adopting insulating material is helpful to cutting down the melting rate of permafrost and avoiding the permafrost from degradating.
