Detectlon of sulfide-stress Corrosion of LPG Tanks

  • 摘要: 液化石油气(LPG) 中硫化氢含量偏高会腐蚀储罐。分析了湿硫化氢环境和硫化物应力腐蚀开裂的三个因素, 介绍了荧光磁粉检测中磁痕显示特点和操作注意事项。指出金相检验能发现磁粉检测不能发现的更浅更细微的裂纹。通过LPG储罐应力腐蚀案例分析, 指出预防应力腐蚀应从消除环境因素、力学因素和冶金因素着手, 提出了相应的预防措施。

     

    Abstract: If hydrogen sulfide content in LPG is on the high side, LPG tank will be corroded. Three factors for wet hydrogen sulfideenvironment and sulfide stress corrosion cracking are analyzed and indicating characteristics of magnetic particle indication influorescent magnetic powder detection and detection steps are introduced. It is pointed out that shallower and slighter cracks, which are unavailable with magnetic powder detection method, can be found out in metallographic inspection, Based on analysis of tank stress corrosion cases, it is indicated that preventing against stress corrosion of LPG tank should eliminate the factors ofenvironment, mechanics and metallurgy. Relative preventive measures are put forward simultaneously.
