Abstract:
Quantitative analysis, evaluation and excavation verification on coating performance of 2km-long outlet oil pipeline section in Tarim Oilfiled are carried out with double-parameter (F and E) SPAE method (Synthetic Parameter Abnormality Evaluation). Result shows that evaluation results match up to the actual status of the coating, and the coating inspected appears aging and disbonding to a certain extent, which need replacement and repair in time, and points out that for the pipe body, evaluation on corrosion status and fatigue/damage level should be stressed. Pipeline corrosion inspection should involve scheduled overall inspection and local inspection, and initial inspection and periodical inspection, and establishing standard corrosion detection database and management system and research and introducing precautions techniques for corrosion detection evaluation as well as hidden danger monitoring should be needed to rule the working procedures in pipeline inspection at the same time.
