Abstract:
Finite element model for large-scale oil tank is established and its static force problem is analyzed by space finite element analysis, foundation is simulated by spring element, tank wall is simulated with shells and liquid is simulated with three-dimensional fluid element.Stress effects of liquid height and foundation modulus on the tank are studied.Analysis results show that the higher the liquid height, the ring, radial, axial stresses in a certain region of the bottom edge and the roots are bigger; the ring, radial, aiXial stress effects of the foundation modulus is focused on the first bottom plate.For 150 000 m3 oiltank with inverted cone and cone of bottom plate, the forces and deformations are similar.
