Abstract: Because the construction of conventionalonshore LNG receiving terminal islimited by such factors as high construction cost and limited LNG processing scale, offshore salt-cavern-based LNG receiving terminal is a developing tendency in the future. The paper analyzes advantages of the offshore salt-cavern-based LNG receiving terminal and introduces in detail the constitution, types and building technique of this kind of terminals.
