Abstract: The effects of air vortex on the ventilating of gas turbine cabin, pressure difference of compressor, anti-ice net and vane are discussed. It is pointed out that air vortex is a main factor for the trouble of gas turbine. Based on the analysis made on failures and accidents, countermeasures against the failures induced by air vortex are presented.
