Abstract: The paper forecasts the gas demands for peak shaving of Jingbian-Xi’an gas transmission pipeline in Shannxi Province up to 2015 according to recent gas supply situation and future planning of the pipeline, analyzes the problems existed in gas supply in the province.It is considered that the measures adopted in seasonal peak shaving of gas should not only include the construction of underground gas storage,peak shaving LNG storage and gas compressor station,but also lead the direction of gas market development, reasonably utilize upstream and downstream resources of the pipeline to optimize winter’s operation process of pipeline,carry out gas price of peak shaving and get multi-resource of gas.
