Abstract: Pressure test of long distance pipeline is an important process during pipeline construction and also a comprehensive inspection to pipe materials and welding quality. Descriptions on division of pipe section, selection of pressure test medium and determination of test pressure is given for pipeline pressure test. And advanced pressure test practices and conceptions at home and abroad are introduced aiming at promoting and realizing specialization of pressure test so as to ensure long-term safety of pipeline operation.
