Abstract:
In this paper, the law of the dispersion of high sulfur natural gas leaked from the pipeline punctured is simulated initially by using FLUENT CFD software. The diffusion laws of the methane, hydrogen sulfide under a certain wind speed, terrain conditions, as well as the distribution law of their concentration are demonstrated, which provide considerations for anticipating the areas affected by high sulfur natural gas dispersion. It is deemed to have guiding meaning for acknowledging the dispersion law of the high sulfur natural gas and for the precaution and rescue in case of emergency.
