Abstract: This paper presents the application of Rockwell ControlLogix series PLC in the control of pipeline loop test system, as well as the structure of the hardware and design of the software. Field application shows that this system is capable of gathering parameters of oil transportation under simulated field conditions and simulating the real running of oil pipelines.
