Welding Process Study on the Sour Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline

  • 摘要: 针对泰国WANG NOIKAENG KOI天然气输送管道设计的复杂性,故障发生时多处于酸性环境,对钢管成分提出了不同要求,同时提出在焊接材料的选择和焊接工艺制定时应注意的问题,并考虑采取措施以减少或避免在某些敏感区域射线探伤过程中对周围人员的身体伤害。

     

    Abstract: In the light of the complexity in design for the Wang Noi Kaent Koi Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline in Thailand, the metal composition of API 5L X65 steel pipe is analyzed. The result shows that all composition indexes of this steel pipe meet the needs of application in sour environment. To avoid the failure of pipe in sour environment, the authors consider that the candidate welding stick and welding process should be taken into account, and meanwhile the human injury problem from X-ray inspection to some sensitive zone also avoided or eliminated by effective methods or measures.
