Abstract: In the light of application of prover in oil custody transfer in China, the authors analyze the status quo and problems of prover in manufacture and application. The paper considers that at present 4 problems exist in prover non-standards manufacture, non-certificated manufacture, proving period and wax deposition. The relevant suggestions and improvements to these problems are proposed.
