Abstract:
This paper mainly discusses the application of hydrotechnological protection technology in Golmud-Lhasa Products Pipeline. The poor conditions in natural environment, landscape and ground feature, hydrology and meteorology in Tibet result in the suspension and exposition of the pipeline. The author considers that to protect the pipeline the effective measures should be made to work out scientifically and rationally the hydrotechnological protection plan to safeguard the crossing pipeline section and river-faced pipeline section, and the pipeline in valley and hills according to the physical and chemical properties of the local soil, erosional morphotype, the law of flooding and hill movement. The key link in quality control of hydrotechnological protection technology for this pipeline is emphasized.
