Abstract: The author analyzes the development tendency in the construction of underground gas storage in foreign countries and describes the development direction in the construction technology of underground gas storage from 5 aspects. It is considered that the standardization technology design should be adopted in the design of underground gas storage to decrease the unnecessary coordination between design departments, simplify the selection of technology program, shorten the construction duration of underground gas storage and ensune the construction quality of underground gas storage.
