Abstract: Some forms of evaporation loss of oil in storage and transportation is introduced and the evaporating process, measuring method and relevant calculation method are described. The article analyzes the impact of ambient temperature on the temperature and concentration of oil/gas within tank, as well as oil loss rate. Based on the analytical results, some measures to reduce the evaporation loss of oil are given.
