Abstract: The comparison and demonstration on two calculation methods tank volume of liquid petroleum products in the standard GB 9110-88, the density measurement and volume calculation by tank sampling and density measurement and volume calculation by pipeline sampling, are made. The differences possibly existed in the two methods are demonstrated on the theory base. The authors put forward some issues to be focused on by calculation case.
