Abstract: The status quo in production and consumption of petroleum in China is analyzed. The study on the relative conditions and requirements in establishing petroleum reserve security system in China with Chinese features is carried out. It is pointed out that the establishment of petroleum reserve security system is a long-term fundamental construction project needed to continuously study and develop.
