Cause Analysis on Packing Seal Failure of Centrifugal Pump and New Candidate's Selection

  • 摘要: 通过对离心泵填料密封结构失效原因的分析, 提出利用工程塑料螺纹改进离心泵的单一填料密封结构。从设计原理、CAD仿真系统分析、密封结构的改进等方面, 说明双吸式离心泵螺旋密封应用是可行的, 给出了这种螺旋密封在某油库多台离心泵上应用的实例, 应用结果表明, 这种螺旋密封防漏性好, 更换简单, 实用性强。

     

    Abstract: Based on the cause analysis of packing seal failure of centrifugal pump, an improvement measures with helical packing of engineering plastics to substitute the packing seal is presented. This kind of helical packing of engineering plastics is verified that it is available to use in doubl e-suction pump from the design principle, CAD simulation system analysis and improvement of seal structure. This helical packing is characterized by practical and easy to displace.
