Abstract: Through laboratory experiment and field test, the influence of shear dispersion upon paraffin deposition under temperature differences and non-differences conditions is studied. The migration direction of suspended particles in shear flow field is analyzed. It is considered that the influence of shear dispersion upon paraffin deposition is insignificant under certain condition and can be neglected when the paraffin model is established.
