Abstract: With the construction development of pipeline to bigger diameter and higher strength, the number of elbows and cold-bending bends used will be gradually decreased because their manufacturing process and application are limited by a certain objective condition. While the hot-bending bends will have a bright prospect in application with a matured manufacturing process, especially for the same diameter bend with any angles. The hot-bending bend can be made on a continuous base in assembly line with a reliable quality, good adjustability and adaptability. This bend can be used in oil and gas pipeline.
