Abstract: The corrosion cause of walkaround is analyzed. It is pointed out that poor rust removal or coating damage result in the corrosive perforation of walkaround. Two repair methods to deal with the corrosion are introduced. The comparison between the two methods is made. The problems to be focused on in the design, construction and maintenance are put forward.
