Abstract:
The aerial crossing project of Zhongxian-Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline is characterized by long span, big pipe diameter and heavy loading. The analysis and comparison on the selection of main wire line are made. The results show that the extruded polyethylene coating wire line has obvious advantages in elasticity modulus, corrosion protection, manufacture process and investment, which is suitable to the aerial crossing project of Zhongxian-Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline. The paper introduces the design and application of the extruded polyethylene coating wire line in the aerial crossing project of Mashuihe, Mahuangxi, Mulonghe and Daxigou, and considers that the applied experience of this wire line can be used for the other aerial crossing project of pipelines for reference.
