Abstract: Take Golmud—Lhasa product pipeline as an example, the paper points out that to prevent product from stealing and ensure a safe operating for the pipeline, it is important and necessary for the operator of pipeline to establish and amplify an safety system, and improve safety facilities inside or outside pump stations and tank farms. The author considers that by means of automatic monitoring and control system, the damages and steals to the pipeline can be further reduced.
