An Corrossion Analysis on A3 Steel Tank of Ethylene Dichloride and its Storage

  • 摘要: 在用A3钢储罐储存二氯乙烷的过程中, 储罐发生了严重的腐蚀并导致了泄漏。通过探伤检测及宏观检查, 发现腐蚀层呈层状排列, 有钟乳状突起。分析了二氯乙烷对A3钢的腐蚀机理, 指出腐蚀的主要原因是二氯乙烷储存方法不当, 因二氯乙烷氧化产生的HCl吸收水分, 形成盐酸产生电化学腐蚀。根据分析结果, 制定了二氯乙烷的安全储存方法。

     

    Abstract: In the light of the corrosion and leakage of A3 steel tank of ethylene dichloride, a defect detection and microscopic inspection have been conducted. It is found that the corrosion layer is laminated with stalactite. The corrosion mechanism of ethylene dichloride is analyzed. It is pointed out that the major cause of corrosion of A3 steel tank originates improper storage of ethylene dichloride, the HC1 produced from ethylene dichloride adsorbs water to form hydrochloric acid to result in electrochemical corrosion. Based on the analysis results, the safe storage method of ethylene dichloride has been made.
