Numerical Simulation of Free Boundaries in Two-phase Flow

摘要: 用一个体积分数F来定义流体区域, 并用它来跟踪自由界面的运动。在界面控制方程的离散过程中使用了施主—受主格式, 保证了函数F的阶梯性, 防止了自由界面在演变过程中发散。对大坝坍塌和垂直管静止液体中Taylor气泡的上升运行, 运用模型进行了模拟, 取得了满意的结果。Abstract: A volume fraction specif ication, F, is used to define fluid region, and to track the movement of free boundaries. The control equation for free boundaries is discretized with the donor-acceptor scheme to maintain the step of function F, and to avoid free boundaries from diffusion in advancing in time. Calculations of the broken dam problem and Taylor bubbles rising through stagnant liquid in vertical tubes, using this model, show good agreement.
