Abstract: In the light of the construction of gas transmission pipelines for Western Gas to Eastern China Engi-neerig, the thesis on studying and applying internal pipe coating for gas transmission pipeline is presented. A detail introduction to the application of internal coating at abroad, advantages and applied effectiveness of internal coating, benefit to apply internal coating, coating materials of internal coating and applying operation have been made. It is considered that in the initial construction stage of gas transmission pipelines for Western Gas to Eastern China Engineering, the technical problems, including research and application of internal coating of gas transmission pipeline, should be deeply studied and demonstrated so as to reasonably develop and utilize natural gas to increase the overall benefit of the industry on the basis of foreign experiences.
