Abstract:
The experiment of static structural recovery on pre-sheared non-Newtonian crude oil has been performed by small amplitude oscillatory shear. The results display that structural parameter G
* reflecting the structure strength of non-Newtonian crude oil increases monotonously with time at static state. The rate of structural recovery is largest at primary moment. The large the pre-shear rate experienced by non-Newtonian crude oil, the large the rate of structural recovery, but the small the structural strength at corresponding psudo-equilibrium state.
